Savanah Harvey (she/her) is a marriage and Family Therapy Associate working under the supervision of Dr. Lisa Black, Psy.D.. Savanah strives to create a comforting and accepting space where clients will be seen, heard, and understood. Together with clients, she navigates challenges and taps into their innate capacity to heal and achieve their goals.

Specializing in anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life transitions, and relational dynamics, Savanah focuses on facilitating transformative experiences. She fosters a sense of calm, clarity, and connection, particularly within the LGBTQIA+ community. Through compassionate care and exploration, she supports clients in working through challenging emotions while cultivating self-compassion and empowerment.

Savanah has witnessed the profound impact of Internal Family Systems (IFS) in helping clients understand and heal their internal landscapes. This therapeutic approach enables the exploration and integration of different parts of the self, promoting greater self-awareness and emotional well-being.

Savanah is additionally trained in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and EMDR, both of which can serve as powerful adjuncts to traditional therapy. These innovative treatments offer new avenues of healing, particularly for individuals experiencing treatment-resistant depression, PTSD, and other mental health challenges.

In her experience with couple’s therapy, Savanah has seen remarkable progress through Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). By addressing emotional dynamics and enhancing communication, this approach helps couples build deeper connections, fostering greater intimacy and stronger bonds.

With six years of experience as a yoga instructor, Savanah incorporates a holistic, mind-body approach into her therapy practice. She believes in the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit and uses this philosophy to guide clients toward comprehensive well-being.
