Dr. Samira Pourhassan-Zenoz (she/her) is one of Silvi Integrative Health’s clinical psychology associates, supervised by Dr. Lisa Black, Psy.D. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Alliant International University.
She has extensive training in treating severe and persistent mental health disorders and collaborates closely with primary medical and behavioral health care teams to address a wide range of mental health and substance use challenges.
She has also received training at UCSD utilizing biofeedback and neurofeedback techniques.
While the core of her therapeutic approach is relational psychodynamic psychotherapy, she incorporates interventions from various other therapeutic methods, including existential psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and cognitive-behavioral modalities. She takes a trauma-informed approach, recognizing psychotherapy as a powerful tool for healing, self-exploration, and personal growth.
She seeks to be a helpful, supportive, and empathetic part of this journey with her clients.
In her spare time, she enjoys catching the sunset, exploring new beaches, and spending time with her loved ones.
